Red Room Chronicles is a blog about Marriott hotels that I started in July of 2005.
I’ve been traveling regularly on business since 1998. Somehow I became one of those folks who just gravitated to Marriott hotels. Some of my co-workers go with Hilton and others swear by Sheraton. I’m a Marriott guy. I’m enrolled in the Marriott Rewards program and have logged several hundred thousand points in my account. I’ve stayed hundreds of nights in Marriott hotels of all brands across North America. That includes out of the way places such as Calgary, Alberta and Bismarck, North Dakota. There are many other towns that I’m sure you won’t get too excited about. After all, no one said business travel was supposed to be exciting.
My goal here is to provide people with information about the various Marriott hotels that I encounter during my travels, be it for business or leisure purposes. I’d also like to present the opportunity for others to share their Marriott stories as well. So if you’re a guest at a Marriott hotel and would like to comment on that hotel, then consider yourself an honorary correspondent for Red Room Chronicles. I also plan to go beyond the hotel information and provide information and updates on the Marriott Rewards program. For all the time we spend in these hotels it’s important that we’re in on every perk possible that might make our business travel just a bit more tolerable.
I’m glad to have you reading this blog and hope to give you the straight skinny on as many Marriott hotels as possible. And who knows, you may just end up in a Marriott in one of those out of the way places where I’m headed to this week. I look forward to seeing you there.
