It seems that the “30″ line of rooms at the Renaissance Pittsburgh Hotel all offer the same terrible view of the air conditioning unit. Both of my co-workers ended up in “30″ rooms. What are the odds of that? They landed in 830 and 1230 and aren’t enjoying the lack of view which is made even worse by the constant hum of the venting unit. The bottom line is this. Specifically request NOT to be booked into one of these rooms when reserving at this hotel.
The parlor rooms in the “15″ line are spacious and have a view of the river through the archway. If you can deal with the murphy bed and lack of a full size desk then give these rooms a try.
